A downloadable game for Windows

Touhou project base-building and management fangame

After a failed testing of a new invention Kappa Hideout is destroyed! But kappa don't fret. Nitori puts together a plan to rebuild kappa's base of operation and earn back the money lost in the accident!

Ver 1.1 Update

Fixed typos and a minor bug with vehicles, added a missing kappa sprite.

Ver 1.2 Update

Added support for screen resolutions of 1920x1080, 1368x768, 1280x720.
Fixed more minor bugs. Old save files might crash, so it's recommended to start a new game.

One way to solve the bug is to build more dormitories and game consoles than needed, and then dismantle the excess when the number of nitori reaches the required level

what's more,I had to sell 1800 parts a day to earn 90000yuan, It take me long time to click button to add the number

add more nitori will lead game crashed,I think there is bug on it
Now I have 48 Nitori, I hope there is 2K settings in game(2560x1440)

Incredibly fun game!!

I would love to try to speedrun it but it gets very tedious near end game when I have a whole base running and need to click 3 times per activity. It would be nice to see something like the arrow keys to move the camera around, right-click to auto accept the default action for the activity, and other little bit QoL options. :)

Still, it was so satifying to finally beat the game by day 51 (with a surplus so all my kappa can just party the next 9 days away)

Thank you so much for this gem!

Glad you enjoyed the game!

I actually do have ideas for a potential update with some new content and some QoL stuff

And thank you!

Game is fun! I do like that the time limit is there, but it isnt overbearing and stressful- allowing you to get set up before you can just really grind out the money

Perhaps some form of endless mode could be fun, if it was possible. I liked the game so much 60 days seemed a little short!

Overall, good game, was very chill, deserves an endless if possible. I like seeing numbers go up

Thanks! Glad you liked the game!

I have some ideas for a potential update, probably no endless mode but I'd like to make the goals, time limit, and maybe even the number of floors customizable

Cute game, was pretty fun up until I found out I couldn't hire more than ~40 kappa without my game keeling over without fail. Massive bummer. EDIT: Just checked my game version, I was on 1.1, not 1.2. Will update and make another playthrough.

Was pretty fun up until then, if I little obtuse. More labels for icons would have been nice, but it didn't take too long to figure it out without them.

I'm having lotta fun! character and overall design are lovely tho.

Maybe im square brain lol, but i had a hard time figuring out how am i supposed to progress, had to restart a few times

Real nice game! keep up the good work ze!

Thanks! Glad you're enjoying the game!

Love this game. but sometimes the game miscount the workers available (usually because the game sometimes doesnt show their working animation in some places) and if you continue the game will crash later.

still great game though

Glad you enjoyed the game!

There are a few instances where only 1 or 2 kappa out of 3 or 4 working will be shown, like with the scrapyard or the bazaar. Were these problems with some specific structures, or did they happen randomly? It might be helpful if you could recall, but I understand if you can't.

And thanks!

its the bazzar sometimes i click i can see the counter going from 22 to 25 and the bazzar kappas disappearing/appearing. sometimes it doesnt let me see the selling screen

found the issue: in the bazzar if you left the menu while the cursor on the "sell" button the bug happens

I'm on day 42 with both goals met, I was a little apprehensive about the time limit but turns out I had nothing to worry about.

The game's a ton of fun, I love the occasional little events and the mental image of bands of kappa roaming Gensokyo in their cucumber-biodiesel-fuelled trucks, pillaging every bit of scrap they can get their hands on and occasionally delivering someone's laundry.

My one gripe is that I wish there was a faster way to activate a building for the day (maybe shift-click on it?), or perhaps set some buildings to be activated by default at the start of the day so that I don't need to go through the busywork of setting up the cucumbers and fuel that I will definitely need every day.

Thanks! Glad you had fun with the game!

Having to click on every building was a bit of a concern during testing, but the pop-up menu also informs you if you have enough resources and kappa to work, so it was left as is

I feel so damn silly for using a drill for most of the game. Could've just fed and housed two more Kappa instead...

(+1)

But drills are fun!

pretty nifty little game, had fun with it and a chuckle over 'money laundering' if you want a small suggestion, a tally of every resource generated over the course of your run might be simple and nifty and give some kind of 'high score' goal for more replayability

(+1)

Thanks, glad you enjoyed it!

I did think about adding the tally actually, but decided against it at the time. Maybe it's something for a potential future update

Aside from the scaling issues, it'd be nice if one could skip the intro from the second startup onwards, and if the mouse was locked to the fullscreen window on multiple monitor setups (since the game has mouse scrolling).

Oh this was absolutely charming.

Thanks, glad you enjoyed!

Looks cool. There's some scaling issues that prevent it from being playable on my end .

The game resolution is locked to 1920x1080, so that might be causing the issue. I'll try and see if I can do something about it

It might not be properly locked. The base resolution set in your OS determines how borked it looks once you click New Game. If you try and run it in 4k, the HUD stays 1080p and occupies the top left quarter of the screen. Except the top bar - that occupies only the top left quarter of the grey area that's meant to *hold* the top bar. So it seems whatever you did to lock the game to 1080p didn't quite work out. Though it seems the engine has no problem scaling to other resolutions, as long as everything's configured properly. The intro video and main menu properly stretch and squeeze from the base 1920x1080 to fit the monitor base resolution. I tested both 4k and 720p. Everything looks great until you hit New Game.

I tinkered with it some more and added the screen resolution option to the settings. Everything should scale properly now

Great game! I had fun optimizing my start, and reached the goal around day 40, I'd wager around day 30 is possible for somebody more clever than me.

There is a small bug that using the scrapyard while a truck is being constructed will use the under-construction vehicle, and prevent it from being built. (This can be worked around by building the vehicle after all other tasks are assigned.)

Glad you enjoyed the game! And thank you for the tip on the bug, I'll look into it.
